It also contains an effective mildewcide that inhibits the growth of mold and mildew on caulk surfaces. This special formulation makes LOCTITE® POLYSEAMSEAL® 100% silicone sealant ideal for use in humid or steamy areas, such as the kitchen and bathroom. In fact, it has a fast dry system that withstands water contact 2 hr after application, so you can shower or take a bath in virtually no time. LOCTITE® POLYSEAMSEAL® 100% silicone sealant can also withstand many environmental elements, including ultraviolet light and temperature extremes of -65 to 300 deg F, so it's suitable for heating and cooling (HVAC) applications, as well. Use LOCTITE® POLYSEAMSEAL® 100% silicone sealant to form a weather-proof bond on a variety of common materials, including glass, ceramics, aluminum, primed steel and some plastics.
